Payton's 10th birthday was Saturday and daddy took the girls to Doug's Burger Den for a big greasy breakfast! Our kitchen had plumbing issues so we ate out all day. We lunched at Red Robin with Memaw & Pop, and Payton was sung to by the servers. She actually asked me to tell them that it was her birthday but right before they came to sing, she began to chicken out. She wanted to crawl under the table, but at the same time I know she loved it!! We then went to see Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. We then packed up to go to our friend's cabin in Cascade. Halfway there Bill realized he left the cabin key at home. But then he remembered that there was a spare hidden and was confident he could find it. Ten minutes later, I realized that we forgot the port a crib for Audrey. Ten minutes after that, we realized we forgot the wet suits for the girls to get in McCall Lake. By this point Audrey is crying her eyes out and Pay and Leah were both crying because Audrey's crying was driving them crazy! So we finally get to the cabin and the spare key is no where! Holiday Inn was looking good to me at this point. When all was said and done, we got in the cabin, went to the Hot Springs, drove into McCall for dinner and yummy dessert then settled in for the night and watched some great flicks! The next morning Bill and the girls rode the four wheeler while Audrey and I got some rest (to make up for a horrible night's sleep since we didn't have the port-a-crib). It was nice to get away, even for a short while!
