Potty Update

Since Audrey went pee in the potty last time, she has attempted almost every day to go again. The problem is every time she tells me she wants to sit on the potty, she has just gone in her diaper. She's getting so close; she wants her diaper off the moment she goes. This morning she just got a fresh diaper on and then said she wanted to go potty. I asked her if she needed to go or if she had already gone. The next thing I know, she's calling for me to come upstairs. I went up to find her sitting on her potty with a book. She asked me to sit and read to her. I really didn't think anything about it because we'd done this countless times with no results (besides I knew that she'd already peed in her diaper minutes before.) But as I was reading I noticed the "poop face". And sure enough she went not just pee, but POOP! You've never seen a more proud mommy! We called downstairs to daddy to share the news. He was very excited and yelled his congratulations to Tooters. His next statement was, "No pictures"! Yeah, right! As if! I ran to get my camera! I have spent considerable contemplation on whether or not I should attach the poop picture, and I have decided..... not to include it. You're welcome!
